Pump Track Here We Come!
We Have Reached Our Fundraising Goals!
We have received 100% of the funding required to construct pump track.
We are so excited to announce the completion of our fundraising campaign. This campaign owes its success to the overwhelming generosity of these corporate, non-profit, and independent supporters who have stepped forward and made a commitment to inspiring a healthy and active community including:
Cargill (Gold Namesake Sponsorship)
The Last of Us Donation from Town of High River
Calgary Foundation
Rotary Club of High River
Western Financial Group of High River
The Foothills Kinettes
The people and businesses of High River for their enthusiastic support of our fundraisers and events!
Pump track chair Jeff Hamilton would like to extend his immense gratitude to everyone who has helped us cross the finish line. “When this project was first proposed in 2018, no one could have predicted that a global pandemic would be one of the many challenges we’d face during this campaign. Thanks to the determination, vision and passion of our local business community and non-profit organizations, we are proud to announce that the High River Pump Track will become a reality in 2022.”
The High River Bike Park Society is a team of local volunteers dedicated to bringing a world-class pump track to our town. The society has contracted Velosolutions, an innovative and industry-leading global company that has installed professional tracks around the world, to build the park. Construction is expected to begin in July of 2022 and the facility will open to the public in late summer/early fall.
