A Christmas Wish Come True For The High River Pump Track

The High River Bike Park Society was given a sizeable donation just in time for Christmas. Cargill has come onboard as the Gold Sponsor. Giving the company naming rights to the track and more.

“Cargill is a huge supporter of the High River (and surrounding) community. We are thrilled to be able to give back to an organization that is creating a space for healthy activity for all ages.” said Dale Lagrange, Cargill’s High River facility general manager. “We care about this community because we live and work here.”

The High River Pump Track started fundraising after getting the green light from High River Council in 2019. This donation from Cargill takes the group of volunteers well over the $100,000 mark on their way to their goal of $250,000.

“The High River Pump Track is so grateful for this generous donation from Cargill,” says Society President Jeff Hamilton. “This helps us to keep the momentum going in a year where many donations and community events were put on hold. We know how important this track will be for the health and wellness of our community and we can’t wait to get it built.”
